Two new Mystery SAL starts!

Passione Ricamo Fairy Mystery SAL (part #1)
I started the Passione Ricamo Fairy Mystery SAL!  It comes in 12 parts, one per month, and started on July 1.  The deadline to sign up has been extended until July 31.  You can sign up here: http://www.passionericamo.eu/SAL2012.htm  I am stitching it on 28 ct Antique White Cashel linen, 2 over 2, except the Petite Treasure Braid is only 1 strand.  It is really very sparkly and I hope to get the gold braid to show up better in the next update.  The finished size will be 12.5 x 15.5 inches.
Lizzie*Kate Very Scary (part #1)
I started the Lizzie*Kate Mystery Sampler called Very Scary.  It comes in three parts in July, August, and September.  I am stitching it on 30 ct Tin Roof linen, 2 over 2.  This is my first time using Weeks Dye Works overdyed floss.  The finished size will be 6.5 x 16 inches.

Happy Stitching, everyone!

Santa, May, and BBQ Queen updates!

Santa's 12 Days of Christmas (Day #2) update #6
That was a lot of mindless red stitching on Santa's coat, but I finally got it done! The only thing left is the bird cage, and then I can start on Day #3!
Spring & Fall (May) update #1
I love stitching birds, so I just couldn't put this one down!  He will be surrounded by leaves and flowers and the word "May" will be stitched on the bottom.  Rosemary has been encouraging me to catch up by telling me that May, June, July, and August all have birds in the designs!
BBQ Queen update #15
BBQ Queen and the flamingo both have legs now.  I think I'll do some backstitching before I add her big white chef's hat.

Two more finishes and TUSAL #7

I finally finished Trick or Treat, which was a SAL I started with Linda last year, but she finished hers way back in December!  I'm looking forward to getting this framed with several colorful mats.

I started the next month in the series, which will be a Robin Red Breast with blue and yellow flowers.  Linda, Rosemary, and I are stitching all 12 designs in the Spring & Fall and Summer & Winter booklets by The Prairie Schooler.  You can see what all the completed designs will look like on my UCJC page, #26.

This month, my ORT jar is posing with my Angels baseball bobbleheads!  Check in on Daffycat's blog for your TUSAL blog post, too!

Two Prairie Schooler SAL updates!

Spring & Fall - April update #6
The big gray bunny is halfway there! I hope to finish him on Saturday and stitch "April" on the bottom and this will be added to my Finishes 2012 page!  Then I can start on "May" in my Saturday SAL with Linda and Rosemary.
Santa's 12 Days of Christmas (Day #2) update #5
It looks like I have lots of red stitching to go on Santa's coat!  I love how there is a pear included in every design.  This is my Sunday SAL with Linda and Kaye.

I finally got my charts and supplies for the Passione Ricamo Fairy Mystery SAL and Lizzie*Kate Very Scary Mystery Sampler.  I plan to start these pretty soon!

Cackle is finished!

Hurray! My first finish for July is a birthday gift for my friend.  Halloween is her favorite holiday.  I stitched the moon with variegated yellow floss instead of lavender in the pattern, since I used hand-dyed lavender Aida from Stitchnmomma.  I also used purple variegated floss for the letters instead of black.

Does anyone want to stitch this fun Halloween design next?  I will have a giveaway of this original chart, Cackle, and mail it anywhere.  Just leave a comment if you want to be entered in the drawing.  I will choose a winner on Thursday, July 12.

WIPocalypse update #7 and lots of SAL updates!

Trick or Treat update #14
I haven't touched this one in 3 months, so I finally made some progress on the purple hat.  After the hat is finished, I need to add the word "OR" and a few more spiderwebs and it will be done!  So it looks like this one will make it off my WIPocalypse page and onto the Finishes 2012 page pretty soon!  Be sure to check in on Measi's blog to post your WIPocalypse update, too.

I've had two finishes since the last WIPocalypse update.  French Country~Lark was stitched for a quilt for World of Charity Stitching.
French Country~Lark finished!
I made a small Harley-Davidson logo into a magnet for my dad (shown on his black refrigerator).
Harley-Davidson logo (small) finished!
On my Monday SAL with Linda of Cackle, I have started to stitch the letters in variegated dark violet floss.  It will say, "Cackle and the world cackles with you.  Shriek and you shriek alone."  I'm using hand-dyed lavender Aida from Stitchnmomma.
Cackle update #4
On my Wednesday SAL with Linda of Diane Arthurs' designs (she has Lady Liberty and I have BBQ Queen), I have almost finished stitching the apron.  It's a lot of white on white so the progress pic doesn't look very different from last time.
BBQ Queen update #13
On my Friday SAL of Halloween House with 10 other stitchers, I have added more pumpkins in front of the fence, but they still need backstitching before they look as cute as the others!
Halloween House update #17
On my Saturday SAL of Prairie Schooler monthly designs with Linda and Rosemary, I have stitched two more flowers on April.  I want to finish this one before I start on May, June, or July.
Spring & Fall - April update #5

X-Stitching Christmas update for June

I'm in the X-Stitching Christmas Challenge started by Lady Kell of Kincavel, where we try to finish 12 items for Christmas during the year, and post our progress on the last Saturday of the month.  I have finished Mr. Mittens, which will be a Christmas decoration for my house.  Now he has been added to my X-Stitching Christmas Challenge page, which is only finish #4.  I've still got 8 more to go!

I have also made progress on Day #2 of Santa's 12 Days of Christmas.
